Cars That Sit -ETCG1
This topic comes up from time to time and since my 1993 Acura Vigor is one of those vehicles that seemed to sit for a long time, I thought it made a good opportunity to make a video on the subject. Vehicles that sit often suffer more damage than those that get driven on a daily basis. Dry rot, the degradation of the fluids, insect and animal intrusion, and rust, all contribute to the demise of an otherwise healthy vehicle. Vehicles parked on the open ground suffer even more. So if you plan on storing a vehicle for a long time take precautions to try and keep it healthy and happy while in storage. That way you’ll still be able to drive it when you’re ready to put it on the road again.
