#FairmontProject Final Fitting (Part 2)
This is the second installment of the Final Fitting stage of the #FairmontProject. In this episode I work on the cold side of the turbo and get it mated up to the carburetor.
**Please Note** I will be changing the routing of the cold side of the turbo in a future video. Some of you have brought to my attention it would be better to run the cold side to the other side of the car. I agree. It would be better to get the cold charge away from the hot exhaust and turbo. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
Even though much of what you see in this video will change at some point in the future, I still think it has value. It does show the process of fabricating and altering parts to fit your needs. It takes time and patients. Not to mention a little bit of luck.
Now I have some new challenges, hood clearance to start. I will solve this issue in a future episode by installing spacers between the K member and the body of the car. You get that little nugget because you bothered reading the description. Thank you for that.
Take things one step at a time and sooner or later you’re bound to be done. At least I hope so. 😉
