I think at some point we all may have had a bad experience at the repair shop. It seems that dealerships, or “stealerships” as they are sometimes called, generate the most complaints in this area.

I recently sold a 2002 Acura RL to a good friend of mine. It had an SRS light on. I had already pulled the codes and knew it was something that would be covered under warranty.

My friend was going to take it in to have a new key made anyway so I suggested he have the SRS problem taken care of at the same time. It seems that was a big ask of the dealer as you’ll see in the video.

**Please note** This is not a condemnation of dealers in general. There are a lot of great dealerships out there that give great customer service. Also, as you’ll see in the video, there are some unanswered questions that would help shed some light on how things would have went down had the made the repair. In short, don’t put all dealerships in the ‘stealership’ category as they don’t all deserve it. Otherwise, enjoy the video.
