Tesla, a Tragic Death, and the Future of Autonomous Vehicles -ETCG1
It’s sad that this tragedy came about. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Joshua Brown. That said, it raises some important questions about the future of autonomous vehicles. Technology isn’t perfect and we may still have a ways to go before we fully trust our vehicles to drive themselves.
My questions would be, should we develop a ‘standard’ for autonomous vehicles? Should the government set these standards? Who is at fault when an incident like this occurs?
Many questions. I look forward to your answers and input.
