Solving Automotive Electrical Problems
This section is split into different parts, starting with coming up with a plan. I can’t cover all contingencies here, but I’ll do my best to cover the basics to give you an understanding of how to go about solving an automotive electrical issue.

Picked up a used 98 accord. Started it saw coolant pouring out of bottom of throttle body. Found IAC hanging loose by one screw. Checked gasket found second screw on transmission. Reinstalled IAC. Car ran with kind of high idle maybe 1100 at operating temp. CEL came on p1519. Tried to replace with known good IAC from my other accord. When I unplugged bad IAC I found the center 12v terminal had burned apart melting the connector and took the center blade of the IAC connector with it. My question is now that I have a good IAC and replacement connector is there something else I should do before plugging it in and running the engine? My concern is that I don’t what to burn up my good IAC

Hi Eric! I have a 2005 acura tl and i have watched all your videos on that car even the more complicated ones. I noticed that you have the same problem than me but am not sure if you made a video addressing that especific problem. The problem is that the memory seat does not work at all, i fixed the door jam light sensor and i was hoping that would take care of the memory bottoms but it didn’t. Love the detail on your videos and thank you for your help
