Smaller, Lighter, Cheaper -ETCG1
I’ve been in the repair business for more than 20 years now and in that time I’ve seen things get smaller, lighter, and cheaper. Just about every vehicle system has been effected. When I started there will still some full framed vehicles on the road, now, unless it’s a pick up truck, you’ll likely never see it again.
I believe manufacturers do this to save money on materials and also to make their vehicles lighter to meet emission standards. Either way you look at it, I’m sure the profit margin is closely watched.
So what are your thoughts on Smaller, Lighter, Cheaper?
