It’s true, one of the quickest ways to empty your bank account and run up your credit cards is to embark on a project vehicle. To help prevent this, have a budget in mind before you even start and stick to it. Good luck with that because it’s all those $20 trips to the hardware store or auto parts store that end up getting you in the end.
In this video I talk a bit about my experiences with financing the #FairmontProject and also trying to stick to my budget. No matter what, by the time you’re done, you probably could have bought a new car with a warranty a lot cheaper. It wouldn’t be nearly as much fun or rewarding to drive however.
