      Hi,

I have a issue with my brake pedal that only occurs on very cold mornings (intermittently). For a new seconds my pedal is stiff while the car is running and in park position, then after a few repeated pumps pedal responds normally. Searching online, the problem might be the power brake booster check valve, i’m not able to locate this part so i can test it, does anyone has any idea where this might be, if it exists. I heard it might be built into a hose that provides a vacuum.

      thanks!

The check valve is usually positioned inline with the brake booster vacuum hose or mounted directly onto the brake booster.

        BTW ..
I had the same issue with my Nissan.
Turned out to be a faulty brake booster.

thanks for the tip. I’ll look for it in that general location. I was looking for a honda diagram that shows exact location.
