AC cycles on and off 2010 Acadia was created by Liam66
my ac isn't blowing as cold as last year and noticed now it keeps cutting out, current temp outside is 84, any ideas?

Since light travels faster than the speed of sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Those little low-side gauges are useless. You need to hook up a proper gauge manifold.
FWIW, my '08 Acadia had a slow leak that required topping off every 2-3 years.

Thanks for replying, would too little or too much make it cycle like that, I'm hoping I dont need a new compressor.

Grabbed a set of proper gauges and it was low pressure that caused it to cycle on and off, soon as I started to fill, the compressor came on and stayed on but as it was nearing proper pressure, a hissing sound started to appear, that would explain the low pressure
