      Hi.
      I’m facing some strange noise after mounting my engine. It’s an EJ25 from a Subaru Legacy 1998.

        That valve is not very happy. Post that on legacygt.com for useful input.

          Hearing engine noise on video is a little tricky.
          But,
          There is something very wrong.
          Is this a new / rebuilt engine?
          My guess is, like relative4 stated or you may be looking at piston slap or rod knock.

              Just rebuilt cylinder heads, 2 new exhaust valves, new valve guides, stem seals and new head gaskets
