vacuum leak

ok so my 1998 buick lesabre has a vacuum leak. the leak is on a vacuum hose coming from the brake booster. where that vacuum hose enters the upper intake there is another vacuum line that comes off of that hose and it is cut off.

i can hear it sucking in air. but heres the stumper if i plug it the car dies and wont idle. anyone know where this is supossed to run to and why the car dies when i plug it?

If it hasn’t pealed off, most cars have a vacuum routing diagram somewhere under the hood.

the car has been on fire and cannot find a diagram ill look online tho thanks.

i just went out and took another look. i found the end that is supposed to be connected to the brake booster line. but it runs into the wiring harness so i will update you guys tomarrow after i trace it down
