      Is there an oil that is attracted to heat? I suggest a test that will blow your mind.
      Take a metal/steel or whatever type plate, and using a propane torch underneath the plate and heat the plate. Using a small amount of different brands of oil, drop some oil at the edge of the heated area and see how the different oils react. I think you will be suprised

        I don’t know if there’s any truth in this, but years ago I read that vegetable-based oils, like Castrol R, are attracted to heat.

          Try the test. It will show you which ones that are attracted to heat.
