There are some new Mazda vehicles on display at my local mall, so I had a quick look at them.
On the CX3, the rear wheel wells are lined with an absorbant nubbly grey fabric, similar to what is commonly used to line trunk interiors. Seems like a poor choice of material, given the location.
Why would Mazda (or anyone) think it’s a good idea to line a wheel well with a cheap carpet-like material?
