How To Diagnose A Fuel Pump Failure
I had the privilege of visiting Airtex, and while I was there I spoke with Shane Neuman about diagnosing a faulty fuel pump. In this video we go over the basic steps of diagnosing a faulty fuel pump. So if your vehicle isn’t starting and you suspect a fuel pump problem, here are some steps to follow to confirm your suspicions. Another ‘quick’ test is to bang on the fuel tank and then try and start the engine. Sometimes this works, just don’t bang too hard, you could damage something.

I just wanted to inform you of the problem I had with my 2016 Honda Accord starting but wouldn’t stay running. The dash lights for the steering wheel and key would come on and the key would keep blinking. My husband asked me when did I put the bling ring on the ignition where you stick the key in. Lo and behold, I took it off and the car started right up and kept running as if nothing ever happened. We are thinking there is lead in the ring as it’s from China. I’m going to post this to Facebook and wherever I can to let people know. I would have never thought that ring would prevent my car from running but it did!
