This VManual covers the complete step by step replacement of the timing belt and water pump in Honda Civics equipped with the D series engine. In addition it covers the drive belt replacement and bleeding the cooling system.

Specifically this VManual covers the replacement of the timing belt and water pump on a 2007 Honda Civic. I also cover the older version of the D series timing belt replacement in older model Civics. The procedure for the older versions are detailed throughout the video as cut aways. The main differences between the older and newer engines is the placement of the accessories, mainly the alternator. Older D series engines placed the alternator on the back of the engine toward the firewall or bulkhead. Newer versions of the D series mounted the alternator on the front of the engine near the radiator. The engines are essentially the same, it's the placement of the accessories that varies for the most part.

If you have issues with the download or have questions about the VManual send them to Support@EricTheCarGuy.com, there is NO PHONE SUPPORT for this product but emails submitted to the address above will be answered within 24 hours. Also, VManuals cannot be downloaded onto a smart phone or tablet device. Once downloaded you can transfer them to those devices from your computer file, but you cannot download them directly to those devices. If you wish for that option I would suggest checking out the streaming VManual instead.

What Civic in 2006/7 had the D Series? I thought they either had an R series or K Series!

I know it's strange, but the vehicle in the video is a 2007 with a D series. Either way, it does show the process of the timing belt replacement in the latest model it was available in.

Is the Civic for this V manual based on the car at the 23 second mark? If so, that is a 2001-2005 Civic.
