      For the silicone paste you use, do you think brand makes much of a difference as long as it’s high temperature? I use Sil-Glyde, which was recommended on a forum a a while ago. Also, would using the same grease on the contact points work in the same way as the anti-sieze?

      For what it’s worth, I always replace the hardware when it comes with the brakes. I can’t remember buying brakes that didn’t include it.

        I’ve been watching your youtube videos lately and saw this as well as one about SS brake lines. Would you have concerns on an older high mileage car breaking the bleeder valve when trying to bleed or the nuts on the brake lines if trying to replace them? I’ve not had a problem, but it’s not like I’ve bled the brakes a lot. I remember doing it in one of my other cars and my dad cautioning me that the bleeder valve can break pretty easily. Just wondering if it’s one of those things to just leave alone at this point or if there’s any precautions that can be taken to avoid breaking anything. Thanks!
