So when an alternator is diagnosed with a bad regulator we usually replace the alternator.
In my case the regulator is in the car computer (not in the alternator). Shouldn’t that be enough to replace the computer?
I forgot to mention that I have the battery light on the dash. (too low or too high voltage according to the user’s manual)
Isn’t possible that my electrical issues could be because of the erratic voltage coming from a bad regulator (diagnosed) ?

I have seen those pages before.
I replaced the alternator last week and I brought the old one to be bench tested and it passed…
The thing with Chryslers is that the alternators no not have voltage regulator. The PCM is handling that, that’s why I am leading towards a PCM issue, but I am not an expert.

In what instance would you refurbish it by replacing the seals in the piston chamber instead of replacing the whole caliper?
