From the online catalog, it doesn’t seem like there is a transmission mount for this car. It’s basically a fwd in line 4, 4 speed auto.
Did the smell come only when you are driving above a certain speed for sometime? I had this smell coming into the car when I drive above 120km/h for more than 15 mins and I still could not find the source of the smell. I drive a Mazda 2 and use Mazda atf but it could be due to the age of the atf.
The car is starting to eat oil and drink coolant. No visible leaks, nor blue nor white smoke. Time for an engine rebuild? Mileage is now about 185K Km. I haven’t fix the ticking noise as well.
I’ve gotten the battery replaced. Lets hope for the best. May i ask this here? Are frequent start, stop of engine bad for battery? Sometimes i drive very short distances, lesser than 5 minutes to pickup stuff on daily basis. I’ve heard that the battery does not have sufficient time to charge up before then the next crank and could be bad for the battery? How true is this?

Highly suspect its a bad battery. Managed to bring down the parasitic amp draw to 0.02A last night and this morning car couldn’t start again. Just changed the battery in October this year. Going to claim the warranty for the battery.

Car cam power cable was plugged off and it was showing 0.08A. my car doesn’t come with an alarm system, Just an immobilizer.

When was the last time you had your gear oil changed? Try changing your gear oil first. If it still grinds after the change, it might be they synchromesh unit thats whacked.
