I planned on doing it today but mother nature said no. As soon as it’s moved I’ll report back.
Yea that’s what I’ve read. Been thinking which location to install the sender. Might even get a second sensor and do both.
I’ve always found it funny when they call a guy in the pit at an oil change place a “Lube-Tech”. Most of the time it’s just some guy off the street in my experience.
Short answer: No don’t worry about it.
Hope this helps.
As per iso-tip site. Price ranges from $50-$70 depending on which one you buy.
I also have the same Weller just with a digital temp readout. Depending on price this would be perfect for under dashboards Ect. It’s a trade off.
I think I’m go to move the sender to the pan and see what happens.
The thermostat is rated for 180*. I’m not sure how accurate the sender is where it’s installed though. If I had my scanner I could compare it to the factory sender in the transmission.
nice
Well I got it plumed in been driving around for a while 50* outside now and the hottest temp I’ve gotten was 160*. Sensor us in the test port. Seems like it should warm up way faster than this. I’d said I driven 20 miles mostly city once on the highway.
Ok cool. I’ll go get some fittings and get this thing installed today. Cooler I have is to big really. In the summer time when it’s 100+ my temp is typically 160* but it. I didn’t start driving it regularly again till about a month ago and the temp when it’s cold out struggles to get above 110* so I think this will solve my problem.
Yea see that’s what I was thinking. Just couldn’t find any information on it. The instructions are pretty generic. I even emailed the manufacture just waiting to hear back. Thanks.
Dielectric grease is what I use for battery terminals.
Eric your awesome and don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. You’ve helped me many times over the years even before I became a member of your forum. Thanks for what you do a here’s to many more years of success. Thank You
For me it depends on the day. If it’s 100* outside and I’ve been out in it all day I typically just do the minimum as far as putting stuff away or cleaning.
