the fused wire goes to the harness that came with the hid kit.. in the hid harness there is a box which I would think would hold a relay ( not sure though). Its he same harness Eric used to hook up his hid lights in his video. so I want to make sure I’m fine to use a wire from the passenger side headlight (which is not used right now ) and run it to a separate relay ill add to turn on the halogen Bright’s as well as letting the hid change to Bright’s as well.(hid headlights have hi/lo) so basically I would have hid and halogen Bright’s at the same time.but will not use the halogen while in low beam setting.

Thanks again for the help and replies

my hid lights have a fused wire direct to the battery. the drivers side headlight plug plugs into the hid kit and the passenger side is just unplugged so I the hid kit just using the factory headlight plug to activate a relay to turn on the hid headlights or is it drawing power from it?

so I guess I’m asking if I can tap into that plug to run another relay to turn the high beams on a different set of headlight bulbs? or just use my regular factory plugs with halogen bulbs and tap the plug to run to the hid control/wire harness thing?

sorry I’m not so good with the electrical side of car stuff more just able to change parts etc..
so I thank you for any help/advice

do hid kits use power from the factory wire harness or does it get all its power from the fused battery wire you hook up for them.

no they did not check over the car they checked battery volts and then hooked up his laptop, was on it for maybe 10 mins and then did he crank shaft learn and that was it. you could notice the difference right away. shift from first to second is worse then before have to really press light on gas for it to shift normal and merging on the highway is way bad now the car kind of jerks. when you step on it to merge the car accells and then nothing then accell and then nothing and then accell then nothing and so on. but yeah whip lash affect lmao. from what I hear its gonna be about $800 to $1000 to change the tpc and they say they wont do that unless I also change the shift solenoid.

it should be at the top of the engine looks like a air valve on a tire. When you depress it make sure your not stand or leaning over it cause it is under pressure and if all is good with pump and stuff should shoot fuel out with force.I’m sure they make a guage to check that im sure someone else may know where to get one or borrow one.

first thing i said was is the vehicle cold and idle is higher thats why and tested and thats not the case at all it was 600-700 normal.we are in Canada and we dont have lemon laws here its buyer beware.they have to repaint the suv and they wont even give her a curtesy car to use while hers is in the shop.

i had that exact same car for many years and did many things to it.i had an issue one time were it would run good but after awhile or hard driving would stall and not start and then after some cool down would start again and after many times of removing and testing found out the fuel pump would get hot and shut down. the reason we had a hard time finding the issue is when out of the tank and in water pump would work fine so we thought not it put it back together and bang next thing im stuck side of the road again.we did pressure test when it was cold and it had perfect pressure and was fine.when it stalls listen for fuel pump to come on with key turn and also depress the little check valve and make sure you still have pressure at the fuel rail and remember do this when car is not starting or stalled out.
