thx wysetech, lol. all fingers point to the center diff. i think it is fryed. i’ve seem write ups on subi’s chats. But i always come back to the experts. they have write ups on the 4 cylinder engine and i am pretty sure i can do it on that eng, however, i wonder if it would be different on the H6 engine.

i did that already. didn’t help. something weird is that i change the transmission fluid, and i made sure to put in the correct amount (3.5 quarts). now, the dip stick is way over flown when transmission is cold. and it seems to go down a bit when it is at operating temp (but still shows too much). from my research, people are definatelly pointing to the center diff. what happens if i driving it like this? i’m counting on you wysetech lol

Got the front tires roadforce balance this morning. problem solved. with this machine, they can tell if the tires are bad, are if the rim is damage. Mine were neither. car drives great again. thx everyone.
thx everyone, i will find some place to high speed balance the tires. thank you eric and all your people for the advices.
the problems was there before the new tires. but it does feel like it is tire or balance related. maybe i got bad tires? when i stand then up on a flat surface, they tend to lean to the outer side, as oppose to lay flat. the vibration or shaking is only in the steering wheel and as i increase speed to 80 mph, it feels coming from the front wheels. There is no noise or looseness in the front end. it feels tight. someone recommended to have it balance by road forced balance machine. does that make sense? i hate throwing parts at it ( or money ) thx
thx Eric i suspect tire or balance issue too. I have the factory alloy rims. and the problem with switching the tires front to back is that from factory, the rear tires are wider (rear tires are 225/50/15 and front 195/55/15) i don’t have CV joints in the front. (rear engine, rear wheel drive)
what type of place should i look for that will give it a good and true balance. thx guys.
my 1993 toyota mr2 with a 2.2 engine and has 107,000 miles. I started using synthetic oil when the car had about 80,000 miles and since then it developed two leaks (valve cover gasket and oil pan)i fix both. i still use it because i heard good things about it. i used synthetic penzoil 10w-30 (i can’t find 10w-40) and i change it every 3,000.
Now guys, my question is should i stop using this synthetic oil? and what is the best oil and weight for this car. i intend on keeping it for a long time.thx, ill give it a try. stay safe and dirty.
