It’s definitely not the brakes dragging, I’ve checks multiple times. I’ve tried putting it in neutral and it doesn’t seem to change anything, but It could be my imagination. I have noticed that the rpm stay fairly high once I let off the gas and slowly drop with speed. Almost like it’s not disengaging and its engine braking, but nothing to the extent of a manual transmission. This has only been happening for a week or so and I have owned the car for over 6 months.

It’s just odd that at its worst while the car is moving.

Keeping in mind that I’m not a automatic transmission guru. To me It sounds like a torque converter, TCC or TCC solenoid issue. Best of luck!
