Guys, the rear bank and front bank on a V6 Odyssey each has inlet and exhaust valves.
The back bank as the photos show has this orange coloration.
I put her back together yesterday and after all the hours, the ticking/valve noise is still there. She runs fine, no error codes after reassembly (nor were there before). So I am not sure what the noise is – an oil change at the dealers and ask them to let me know there thoughts is my approach.
Also don’t know what the discoloration is but given she ran well for so many KM’s I plan to just keep on going.Still interested if anyone has seen this color difference before on any Honda V6 engine.

The V6 has inlet and exhaust on each bank, the back 3 cylinders are the ones that are orange like in colour. The front three cylinders are the “normal” color – so not exhaust to inlet related.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
