I don’t get it; isn’t there a door jam plate on that car telling you exactly which paint color to order? Granted, even if you had ordered the factory paint, with these many years on that paint, it might not have matched correctly.

Can you compare it with any low profile 3/8 ratchet? I would like to know if this ratchet is thinner than competing ratchet.

ScottyKilmer:-
– His Q-bond video made me purchase that glue and I was absolutely amazed at the results. It really fixes the plastic at stress joint where anything else fails. I fixed my Cuisinart food processor and a video tripod using q-bond. I give all the credit to Scotty for that.
– His cat converter “dunk in the detergent” video was validated here on the EricTheCarGuy forum. A guy fixed his Civic’s recurring P0420 code.
– I tried he ATP-205 re-sealer on my lawnmower but it kept on leaking and spewing oil, so that did NOT work for me.
– I might be trying his “fixing sticking power steering” video where he recommends trying Seafoam TransTune to clean the power steering system. My 2000 Maxima (200K miles and rust to go with) suddenly started exhibiting “hard to steer on right in the morning” symptoms and there are no fluid leaks. This is leading towards an internal problem in the rack. Given the overall condition of the vehicle there is no way rack replacement repair is on the table ($$$$$) Besides, this is not a pattern failure on this particular model, so I am even more reluctant to swap the rack. I might go “Scotty” on this car. Wish me luck guys!!ScottyKilmer:-

February 21, 2014 at 1:26 am in reply to: 1998 honda civic click crank/no start/start issue. #576013If you are getting a click, it is NOT interlock switch. Assuming Honda does NOT have separate starter relay, I am afraid your new starter is not good. Is the click coming all the way from the engine? It could be also simple bad contacts at the wiring. If you are really hearing the click, starter is trying to engage but it can not because either
1) It is defective
2) Or it is not getting good hefty solid current from the batteryWith bad ignition switch or bad interlock switch, you will hear nothing.

does the converter fit in a 5-gal bucket?

Now I want to know the *exact* detergent that you used and what was the proportion and how long did you soak it in detergent. Post the picture of the bottle!
OEM converters are stupidly expensive and aftermarket ones barely work for few months before throwing the same code again at you. If the cleaning works and even if it needs to be done every 6 months, you are way ahead of the game financially.
