sorry it took me so long to post back, been working

this is the best picture i could get of the timing marks on the balancer and the cross hairs…….the cam gear is perfectly lined up with the edges of the head. but from what i can see the top dead center mark on the crank gear looks off too me

excuse my video….my gf was recording for me and i lost my train of thought trying to remember everything i wanted to show.. its very embarrassing

the car will run the way it is but after it warms up it idles really low and almost stalls out and the timing belt starts making a humming noise and there is a very slight clicking coming from the valves which im not sure where it is actually coming from (the video of the i started it shows this…sorry was excited that it actually ran)

please let me know what you think….im having a hell of time getting the balancer bolt off but soon as i do i can take pictures/ video of the belt exposed

i messed up didnt know i couldnt post a mp4 video….im uploading them on youtube and i’ll add them to the post in just a bit

        hopefully they work

oops i forgot to say i already took the main pulley off (didn’t loose the key!) made sure of that!

that whole side of the engine is apart ready for the new water pump and belt and pulley so i should be good on that. will keep the mirror in mind

been looking on that site i cant find how to time the engine? can you post a link to that specific page i don’t know what to look for so i can bookmark it.
