speaking of which, i have a 2001 subaru outback and really love it; design, performance….all that. i feel as if it is the safest, most reliable car i’ve owned also. the only drawback is, when something does crap out, it seems expensive to fix.
Loving the new site… with the old website there wasn’t much to go on for but now with the forum I keep checking back to see what’s new.
speaking of which, i know on other message boards you can click a button along the top that either shows “today’s posts, or “posts since your last visit”. would something like that be beneficial here? i know each category states how many new posts there are, but i was wondering about an easy way to consolidate it or see if a popular discussion is taking place….
of course, maybe there is already something like that and i haven’t found it yet.
Loving the new site… with the old website there wasn’t much to go on for but now with the forum I keep checking back to see what’s new.
sounds like some decisions have been made….i’d echo the idea of exploring better gas mileage.
Maybe you can pin point the noise inside the car and just take a look around and carefully inspect the inside. Also maybe you can check around the engine and see if anything is loose and around the wheels/tires to check if anything is loose. Also if you can find an auto stethoscope, that might help you pin point these noises.
ooh…i like the stethoscope idea…i actually have one of those. the only problem is that it happens while in drive so i better strap myself underneath with my belt CAPE FEAR style! -
