the car runs better after changing the whole radiator, cap and upper hose. it runs without a problem.

the proformance problem is a folded up radiator hose and it was overheating.

I drive like at low rpms not to notice.

I put laquer thinner in the tank as well so far no check engine lights

I just cleaned the egr passages and the egr valley but still got the same problem proforamance issue Im thinking its an ignition problem. I noticed all the spark plugs and cables taking them out all saterated in oil. I can change the seals easy, you think that will solve it? the plugs are ngk and they got a white coating on it. looking lean. thx

I am gonna be pulling the intake off and cleaning the egr passages. I read its a common problem on these hondas. I did notice pulling the egr valve off that there is alot of carbon buildup. the cat I can pull off and try cleaning it before replacing it.

I don’t have a infrared thermometer but my Bosch 1300 scanner can get readings from the cat itself.

I found my problem I phyically feel exhaust coming out on cylinder 6. the headers I put on wernt tight enough. A power balance test did the trick to find this problem where the exhaust leak was at.

the cam is located in the crankcase. you have to remove the oil pan to get to it

There were some loose pushrods when I replaced my valve cover to a chrome one. there was up and down play and not side to side play. You could be right about adjusting vavlves or the push rods themsevlfs at the top are worn or the rocker arm itself could be worn. My issue with all repairs is what am I looking for thats concrete to dianoise if thats acually the problem?
