    Dang… Was hoping that wouldn’t be the case. Was hoping it would be a easy fix.. would only have 1 day at most to fix it and don’t have the money to have someone else do it.

    I also put uv dye in the oil to look for leaks and found nothing.

    I went to clean my map sensor (located next to hose from pcv) and saw oil in the intake and around the seal for the map sensor. Still need to take the Pcv out and check for oil in it…. When i was checking the Spark plugs for signs of burnt oil one of the wires fell apart (i guess it was old) so I had to run and get new wires and head to work. going to check Pcv in the morning

    Thank you! I was hoping it would be something easy. after changing the water pump on a 1997 chevy cav. that was attached to the timing belt i need something easy and quick (also inexpensive) to do on one of my cars. ill call the dealer this week to get a quote on the price of the valve. shouldn’t be more than 60 i believe.
