Forget any rubberized type undercoat. Use clear film or a clear like wax protectant such as Dynax UC from Bilt Hamber.

Ideally you want to degrease the whole underside before applying anything.

I guess Eric is way to busy to reply here but would be pretty awesome if he could help out. I did pay for the V-manual haha. Not enough info on the tension.

Thanks. I don’t mean to sound disrespectful but you’re not telling me anything I don’t already know.

Perhaps as you’ve done a few b series belts you can tell me if when you crank the engine, by hand with spark plugs in, that you see the same amount of slack between the cam gears as in my video?? :-S

This is a B18C Type R engine and the belt is correct, I’ve double checked the part number.

I’d like to hear from Eric regarding the water pump

                  Thanks for the advice.

I’ve bought an OE belt & tensioner.

I am not going to replace the waterpump, it’s only done about 68,000 miles. I can’t really afford to replace it right now.

I had a similar problem with my CRX, it wouldn’t redline and felt sluggish at wide open throttle. It was due to a damaged muffler. Fix that exhaust!
