Hey NightHawk92. Since you’re the only one who ever replied to me, I thought I would let you know how I made out with the replacement airbag main computer module that I was hoping would clear my SRS light that wouldn’t go off. The replacement module didn’t work. So, I had to dive even deeper into my integra service manual and the integra forums. Here’s what I found. Stepping through some airbag system troubleshooting steps, I had to disconnect the driver’s and passenger’s airbag connectors to the main module. When I took the glove box off to disconnect the passenger’s airbag connector, I found that it was connected to the red short connector. No earthly idea why that was plugged into that instead of its regular connector. So I made the switch, plugged everything back in, reconnected the battery, started the car and BOOM!, the SRS light went out after its 6 second bulb check. Amazing. So, the previous airbag computer module was likely not bad or had a crash code on it as I suspected. So glad to have this resolved. Now, we can take the car for its Virginia safety inspection with no worries or fear of failure. Thanks for your help, sir. Hopefully, this will help someone else too. Happy New Year. 2015 is going to be amazing!

No. The SRS light is still on. I tried again to get something, anything from the SRS light either with the service connector or the SRS MES connector reset procedure. Nothing. Not even a flicker. I also checked the SRS fuse. It was good. My only guess is that the SRS system unit has a hard code in it that can’t be reset by DIY processes. I ordered a replacement SRS main unit off eBay that is a known-good unit from a ’94 GSR that was never in an accident. I’ve read that others have had success doing this. For $15, it’s worth a try. Thanks for staying with me on this. I appreciate it. Haven’t heard from any others.

Thanks NightHawk92. I found a used, known-good, replacement sensor online and replaced that today. It worked! The ABS light goes off after starting the car and doesn’t come back on.
Side note: I was working on a few other little things on the car and wanted to post this somewhere because I was astounded. So, the interior light wasn’t working. I bought a replacement bulb, but when I took the cover off, the bulb wasn’t blown. So, I checked the fuse. Sure enough, it was blown. New fuse, interior light now working. This fuse also fixed the following:
* Rear defrost button and operation
* Key in, door open chime
* Lights left on, car off chime
* Door open alert dash light (this light stayed on even with both doors securely closed)This reminded me of when my speedo went on my ’99 GSR. Coincidentally (I thought), my alternator stopped working. After 4 days of troubleshooting and replacing alternator and it still not working, I discovered that the speedo and the alternator were on the same fuse. Astonishing.

UPDATE: Thanks for everyone’s responses. Bottom line. I had a new clutch kit installed. Got the car back yesterday. Working better now. Couple observations. Clutch engages really high on the clutch pedal. 1st and Reverse gears still a little “chatty”. Hoping that these are just new clutch break-in issues. I have a 6 month warranty on the new clutch so we’ll see how it goes. Glad to have my teggy back on the road.

Thanks Tomh and Barney. I brought the car back to the repair shop yesterday. The owner came out and took a ride with me. He felt the vibration in the clutch pedal immediately. And the car acted up as it did for me. He said that I need a new pressure plate and they are going to resurface the flywheel as well. Thankfully, the $140 that I spent for them to “drive it around” for 3 days and “found nothing wrong” they are going to put toward this job. They didn’t have to do that but the owner was surprised that I was even charged. They are supposed to complete the repair tomorrow (Monday), so I’ll report back and let you folks know how it turned out.

I’m not able to take a look at the clutch components. I can shift through the gears without the car running. Thanks for the link. Will check out.
