Finally got this problem fixed! The small rubber grommet on top of the fuel pump, inside the sending unit assembly, had split and was flaking off. Replaced it after a long and stressful search to find one. Now, runs almost as good as new.
DTCs – Non-Readable, at least with all the multiple computers and scanners that have been hooked to it in the last few months. They all either say No Link, or just sit and run trying to connect. So, that route is out of the question for all codes.
Have pulled the exhaust system loose ahead of the CAT and made no difference for more than a few moments.
I guess it could be the tranny, but I find it hard to believe considering that it shows no slippage and has no problems once it is heated up. But, I was going to see about trying to get it checked out by a guy down the street who does this kind of stuff a lot more than I do.
