thanks for the video eric! i checked it with one of the scan tools at our school. since it was between the engine and firewall, and i haven’t done such repair yet, i wasn’t confident in doing it myself(i remembered one of your etcg1 videos). so we had the catalytic converter replaced at our friends shop who is a professional mechanic. he did mention the old o2 sensor and bolts were on there tight, but he got it out. we noticed the material on the old cat was breaking apart.
thanks again for your replies. 🙂

i got it done, didn’t need to take out the bumper, grille etc. just reached it through the wheel well. i took off the tire too give me more space to work with. wanted to take my time and not mess any thing up.
thanks for all the info. 🙂

thanks eric. im buying the honda coolant. how much is needed to fill up the radiator and reservoir after the waterpump replacement?
received the parts today. bought a waterpump plus the o-ring. howerver, i noticed that the waterpump had a o-ring installed in it already. if i had known i wouldn’t not bought another o-ring. do all honda water pumps already come with the o-ring installed
im bout to buy parts online (hondaautomotiveparts.com) soon. about to just get the timing belt, water pump, water pump o-ring. there seems to be two kinds of o-rings. one just says o-ring, the other has a “yamada” next to it. which one should i get?
does eric have a video for a 05 honda civic timing belt?
thanks for info. i notice from many taking out the crank bolt is a pain. perhaps its best, the first thing to do before taking anything out is take out the crank bolt.
im not sure. he said he had his pads replaced twice already, perhaps thinking thats the problem.
would you recommend changing the tensioner at this point?
