NO I replaced my wife’s 99 honda civic 1.6L cap with a WELLS and it lasted about a month.

PUT AN OEM HONDA ONE! I replaced it with Honda OEM (more expensive) and it worked for going on 4 years.

Look forward to the July 22 Release of his last Star Trek.
My view on Chrysler is that it was the car company that always played “CATCH UP” with the other big car companies.

So sad that happened to him.

Do you know the difference of the carb vs EFI as far as HP? I think it should be about the same if the fuel delivery is equivalent..

No it was used but a very recent retired car in great shape and was being used with fresh gasoline and no rust inside and minor rust outside. You cannot find one new that will fit a wagon. Does not exist rockauto and various sites do not carry just regular pinto tanks. The he tank has a bend in the upper section and accommodates the spare tire well and a regular pinto tank will not fit it has the spare tire offset

I agree with you…. I like Carburetors too!

                  I had a 1982 Chevrolet Citation with a 2.8 liter V6 and it got over 30 MPG!

I never had a car with fuel injection reach that level. 2009 Honda Element only gets on a good day 24.

We successfully found a tank that will fit a wagon. regular Pinto Tanks will not fit around the well for the spare tire.

yes I know many different pinto gas tanks are available but the one that will actually fit the Pinto Wagon are different. the filler tube hole is in a different spot.

                        Hello

I had this problem years ago with a 1975 Old Cutlass Salon.

Pressure test the cooling system. I sound like you might have a bad water pump.

If water leaks from the bottom of the water pump under pressure. The water pump seals are bad not producing pressure.

It could also be your radiator cap not producing pressure check the radiator cap so see if it is damaged.

                          😛

I had many come to me and they are useless costing 1000 or more.
I just do preventative maintenance on my vehicle to avoid costly repairs.

I had the dealer quote me for a warranty package and it covered things like KING PINS and DIPSTICK tubes? :silly:

I told him to keep it and not give me coverage… I think my vehicle should last at least three years….

I suspect the starter it makes a loud clicking noise after the Bendix retracts. I did check the battery with a condundance meter and is ok . it seems to do this more when it is cold. It is very loud at times. The vehicle always starts.

Has anyone sent this on the Honda element? I had a 2003 Honda element and t never had this issue all 11 years of owning it.

                            I appreciate everyone’s comments!

                            HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

                              Hello Eric

                              Thank you for responding…

I didn’t install it yet but I wonder does it leak through the valve or the fiber washer included?

I planned to install it with a copper crush washer.

                              Thanks

I recently had a 2003 Honda Element (sunset orange pearly excellent)

I used to have this vehicle service by a dealer (located near Cleveland Ohio) and I had them do regular oil changes and various other needed general service needs.

I originally bought a extra 100000 basic engine and drive train warranty with the vehicle costing 2500 dollars.

I had 89000 (approc) miles on it and went to the dealer to have the oild changed and when I approached the service writer (nice guy) the tech came out and said ” I had one he)) of a time removing the oil filter from the car because it was cross threaded and wondered who worked on it last time”

I went back at about 97000 miles to have the oil changed again and they said they could not remove the oil filter it was cross threaded on and needed to replace the oil tube for 200 dollars (or more).

I said why and they said it was 75 dollars for the parts and 125 dollars for labor to replace the oild tube in the engine (connecting tube for the oil filter to the block) . I work for a company that make the American Honda Motor company parts catalog and retail on the part is 5.12 dollars not 75.

Needless to say I never went back to the dealer and sought out other sources to service my vehicles and thanks to Eric I service some of the vehicle my self saving thousands.

                                THANK YOU
