Well since I feel this thread relates to me on some level I’ll just come out and say it, I’m taking automotive courses while battling schizo-affective disorder. Psychotic episodes can be triggered by stress and I have extremely horrible short term memory. I’ve managed to get two B +’s my final grade first semester after my grandmother died and missed a week which happened to be on the most complicated section of the manual transmissions and brakes classes.
I also managed to make the merit list last semester despite my memory issues.
I honestly believe if I can do it then pretty much anyone can.
Just a word of advice before starting, research the program you will be taking. I was excited the first couple of semesters but the teachers won’t let less knowledgeable students work on live vehicles, so I have no clue if anything I put back together was actually functioning. I’d recommend a school like uti/wyotech as opposed to a community college.

NVM, found installation instructions.
Here’s a neat write up for anyone with the same questions as me: http://www.dirtyimpreza.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6365NVM, found installation instructions.

Now he wants to a be a tight ass and say there is nothing wrong with the car, it drives fine. Then he told me I was the one who complained about the car being unstable, not him. I asked him when his inspection was due and then he says Febuary, Monroes are the best.

Depending on what year it is, the vehicle emissions sticker should say the displacement in liters (L). Its usually found on the front of the engine bay near the radiator, on the hood itself (under hood) or on/near the air filter.
Hmm.. After looking at the numbers you posted it could be a 2.2L 4 banger..

I’m loving this dealership that fixed my fuel sending unit. I went in for a balance & rotation, ended up with 2 new tires under warranty. Only downside is that it took about 3 hours to convince Goodyear to give me the stock Integrity’s under warranty.
They’ve been around for over 30 years, must be doing something right.
We got the Radiator on last week along with thermostat, so far it seems to be holding up. I’ll update when he changes the oil again. we’ll see if its good or not.
Well that cadillac dealership just made themselves a new loyal customer. Got it back but I won’t know if its fixed until I run the tank low again.
Quoted From johnbkobb:
If that fixes the problem I would write a letter or find a number to call at the manufacturer and tell them the specifics and the names and addresses of the dealerships that turned you away without a resolution to your problem. Personally I would print a letter to be sent to the manufacturer, and hand deliver a copy of it to each of the dealers who told you there was no problem and got rid of you. Take it right to the person at the head of the dealership if not the owner of it. Let them know how you were treated and have a copy of the paperwork from the dealership that fixed it for them to see that there was in fact a problem with your vehicle and the other dealership resolved it. Those dealerships don’t like negative feedback going to corporate headquarters and most of the time will try and prevent it. Who knows, maybe the next few service repairs or oil changes, trans fluid changes or coolant changes will be on them if you change your mind and don’t send that letter to corporate HQ. Just a thought.
I don’t believe that would help. Something I’ve learned through this experience and from reading multiple GM forums is that GM customer service is horrible and they frankly don’t give a rats….. You know.
I showed the video to another dealership and they agreed to fix it Monday under warranty. It’s not the fuel range indicator I’m worried about, the fuel gauge needle also moves.
I shot some video with my phone which clearly shows the problem. Someone tell me this isn’t normal, or if you do think its normal, leave your address so I can slap you in the chops. If the next few dealerships I take it to try and pull some B.S., I’m selling the Buick and getting a Nissan.
