someone said its OBD2.

i googled it and found several people asked whether this engine can be run with OBD1 ECU. so probably its using OBD2.

yes i did. i even took out the cover under the dash. just a bunch of cables next to the hood latch

no luck…..

i will take a look behind the central console in the coming days.

by the way, my car is JDM and some says it doesnt have that connector even it was built in 1996.
hope its not true or my obd2 reader will simply be useless.. 🙁
