Thanks for your suggestion Eric. Anyway in here, the price of parts from salvage yard doesnt really attractive. my car came at less than 1500 USD so i would like everything cheap and try not to replace anything unless they are broken :). mine is just with 15″ rim and 195/55 tyre so its ok.

btw, after the video, i played safe by assuming each step = 45 degree and turned 10 steps (front) and 6 steps (rear) from full stiff. it is much much better and its even a bit softer than expected. maybe my back just got trained with full stiff setting for few months.

really thanks to everyone here as i always got useful help here.

back to the first point, i tried to balance the suspension height with the spanner but i was only able to adjust 1 out of 4. the collars are just too tight to turn using spanner with hammer.. probably they already seized together due to its age. tried penetrating oil but simply didnt help..
what else i can try without breaking the dampers? was thinking about using a water pipe to extend the spanner but i simply cant easily get a pipe here..many thanks.

Thanks for clarifying. it looks like it was adjusted as the seal/plastic cover are not there. i will try tapping test first then follow the below procedures. Thank you

Thank you all for the suggestions and i will definitely take a look at all the areas mentioned.

i just took a look on the service manual about adjusting the idle speed. i found that in step 5, the correct rpm should be 450 (+- 50). is it correct? at 450 rpm the car should shake like hell.

                      Thanks for advises!

the pics show how they look like.

                          upper left

                          Lower left

                          lower right

for the upper left, I don’t know whether it got strengthened by some 3M glue or it was broken and covered by the glue.

                                  someone said its OBD2.
                                  http://www.d-series.org/forums/general-tech/119313-3-stage-vtec-comprehensive-info-d15b-d15z7.html

i googled it and found several people asked whether this engine can be run with OBD1 ECU. so probably its using OBD2.
