you know, now that i think about it, it could be a part of the intake manifold itself, im thinking if i disassemble it, maybe it could be replaced. think i’ll give it a crack tomorrow in the daylight.

hey guys, i pulled the top of the motor off today and found the problem, it was the air intake manifold that had corroded through, i can supply some photos to show you guys exactly what it was if you like!

sorry guys, im australian, the car im talking about is a.. i think its a chevrolet, i do know the motor is made by GM
they are called Holden Commodores over here.
