Followed Eric’s timing belt change video very closely and now I’m in the same boat as jeheald was with the front cam aligned and the rear cam at 2:00. When I try to rotate the read cam left to 12 a run into resistance in the form of spring back. Is this a buildup of air pressure in the cylinder or are the valves hitting something they’re not supposed to? PLEASE HELP! Really don’t want to bend my valves. Thank you.

Great video ETCG! Thanks so much. I’m trying to remove the valve covers on my 1999 TL and they seem to be pretty stuck. The front one came off with much difficulty and the rear one seems to be even worse. I’ve gotten all 5 bolts out but the thing barely moves. I’m afraid of damaging the head so don’t want to pry too hard. Any suggestions?
