Never mind. Replacing entire assembly under warranty. Shops say nothing is wrong with other components.

Thanks for the reply. Shop replaced all solenoids on trans, kept getting converter error code. Took trans apart and saw nothing wrong. They gave up and put in a rebuilt trans and it works with torque converter that honda said was bad and should be replaced for a 3rd time. lol

Feel free to delete this post. The compressor is about to fail. I was hoping it was something simple.

I did more research. It is the compressor. It lets out pressure after engine is off and the a/c clutch spins at least once while the pressure is let out.

I could not edit the message. I meant to say this happened before and after the freon was recharged.

I think I just realized what hose it is. I just installed some new lights in my garage so now I can see better.

Whatever it was has stopped. Bushings are not getting any worse. Struts have a lifetime warranty.

The last thing I tried was to check the top of the strut mount. The driver side mount seems perfectly centered but the passenger side looks shifted a few centimeters. I Don’t think that should cause the metal on metal sound but I will try to find someone to help. With just me jumping on the back I can’t get the sound.

I tried to speak with someone at the Honda dealer and got someone I believe to be clueless. He said that you leave the suspension hanging while you torque the bolts. He also said that the blue marks should face toward Vehicle. I wish I could ask Eric what he thinks. The metal on metal sound is louder now but I don’t see anything wrong.

Is the blue mark supposed to inside or outside or is it decoration? lol

I should be able to get pictures this weekend. Just got a new phone that is not activated yet and I will have to take pictures with the phone. I mounted them like the ones that were on there, I just don’t get it. If they fail somehow I might just buy another set and let a shop do it and see what they do.

New battery and a new catalytic converter. Converter had a spacer on it so that the sensor was not being read.

I just looked again. It looks like it may be easier than I think. Will know soon I hope.

Sound went away once again. Was going to take it to dealer today and now it has stopped. One day I will find out what is going on lol.

Thanks. I just hope it is the converter. So easy to replace. Just hoping Pacesetters converters are decent enough to clear code.
