I had this same problem on another make and model vehicle. The rotor is incorrect-repeat-the rotor is incorrect.

I agree with college mans comments. Fluid spraying in the reservoir is usually a sign of fluid bypassing the seals in the master cyl. spool valve as it travels. The new squeaking noise could be related to this.
Did you notice the fluid spraying in the reservoir during the bench bleeding of the new master cyl.?

Have you checked the mounts for the steering rack? I go there because you said you sometimes feel it in the steering wheel.

Wow! That is one for my memory bank! Good find! I hope Zuhair’s problem is less costly than a crank or an engine. Where is ToyotaKarl on this one?

Agreed about the clutch cable not being there-I missed that in the e-mail.
I was referring to the adjustment on the clutch pedal for the neutral start switch with reference to his sometimes no start condition.

I have seen hydraulic slaves that have an adjustment rod as part of the assembly. I do not know if his application could or could not have this design.

Zuhsir, thanks for the details-I now understand better. WOW you have had the entire clutch assembly replaced 3-times-that has to be expensive!! I’m at a loss for what to suggest next. To answer your question about the clutch pedal adjustment-yes it could have an effect on the starter working. Whe you say the starter does not work the first time do you mean it does nothing at all or does it do something like just noise-clicking-thunking? I don’t know if you have been going back to the same place for all the work you have described. if you have then what are they telling you or suggesting at this point? If they are not being very helpful then it might be time to get involved with a Toyota dealer for some help. If you go that way take all your paperwork from all these repairs with you and ask for some time to sit down with a Senior Service Advisor and tell them your story. I believe that whatever is wrong with your Toyota can be resolved but I would need lots more information from you and to see the car to go forward from here. That is about all the help I can be right now. Perhaps another member here has seen your problem in real life and could come forward with an assist. Good luck with this and please come back to let us know how you make out.

Awhile ago i saw a video on YouTube about this. The video went through how to repair the sending unit so that the problem stays fixed. Apparently there are some shoddy tolerances with the plastic pieces used in the sending unit rheostat area. I don’t have the link handy, I’ll look for it again when I have a chance and post it here if I can find it.
