Thanks to all who gave input-Collegeman your sites were interesting and helpful. I found this site too:
http://www.myairbags.com/abs.php
I’m going to go with them-it is about as inexpensive as I can find that will meet my needs.
If i find any fault with them i’ll report back. Thanks to all who gave input-Collegeman your sites were interesting and helpful. I found this site too:

If i find any fault with them i’ll report back.Hi, I tried the link posted by College Man and it did not work. I would check with Honda first-there were many power steering related issues across their product lines 2007-2009. Many of these problems were not recalls but rather “customer support” issues. If a customer had a problem that was known by Honda AND they ASKED if there was any help that Honda could give then the dealer MIGHT be kind and do the repair as a courtesy (while billing Honda for it). I’ve had SOME success searching the internet for this info but it has been hit and miss. Good Luck!

Report back from my trusted facility: 2-codes found: 36-Bus Communication Error and 32-Controller Failure. Says it all except why my scanner did not access those codes. Chrysler wants $885.00 just for the part, Rock Auto has none, Ebay has many used ones (don’t really want that). Any leads for remanufactured ABS (also called CAB by Chrysler)?

Agreed-have taken vehicle to a trusted facility for further testing-will report results. I’ve used this scanner to obtain ABS codes successfully in the past.

Good thought-my scanner is not selectable-it scans globally for all codes.

ABS fuse checked OK.

My scanner is equipped for ABS-so the literature says! It is an Actron Model No. CP9580.

To all, there was no failure of the resistor, there was voltage at the blower connector. Obtained a replacement blower with cage and procedure was TOO easy. 3-fasteners, 1-electrical connector, a little bit of finesse to clear some other objects, reverse procedure to install and vioala! One working blower motor! Thanks for the questions, they help me do the thorough diagnosis and have a successful repair. This case is closed!
