why don’t you just start with the tests instead of changing things out? A fuel volume test is helpful as well.
I think ill do that first then the tune up. The reason why I want to do a tune up is cuz the truck has been seating for a year. Thank you for that info.
Hey I was working on a 1969 buick skylark. I straightened out the body and paint it. It had a 305 but I wanted to put a 400 in it but things popped up so I end up selling it 2 years ago.
So last year I finally saved up some money and bought a 1992 rs camaro I know its not a iroc. But what I want to do to this is to a ls motor in it and a 6 speed. I don’t know to much about ls motor or putting in a ls in a 1992 camaro plus don’t know his much would that round up to. But as time goes by ill think of something. As for right now ill work on the body.

Just performance issue but what i was going to do is change out the gas filter and do a major tune up to it.

You might also consider a connection problem. Here is a video that I did on alternator diagnosis that might help you.

Hey guys thanks for the help. I found the problem and it was the wire connected to the alternator to the battery was pretty bad. Now it runs with out stalling out or losing voltage. But now i got another problem now it runs poorly every time i press the gas pedal it those not response it feel sluggish for a couple of seconds an then it’ll move normal like it has no problem. I think my gas filter might be bad or bad fuel pressure.
What’s up everybody so i finally got to work on my truck. I charge the battery and put in new alternator and checked allot of censer and nothing happened. The truck ran find until tonight i noticed that my battery gage show’s a little bit pass 9 volts the head lights were dim and everything on the dash was also dim. But the engine was still running until i shut it off. I guess the alternator was doing its job if IM right about that. Any thoughts on but this.
