Just in case anyone searches for this later, I got them open.

I first cut the black leg off with an abrasive wheel on the end of my Foredom. I fed the Foredom down into the door in the whole where the door handle is mounted. The unfinished leg will come out with the black leg, no need to cut it.

I then broke the three 10mm bolts off flush by overtightwning them.

That gave enough clearance for the door to swing free. Then it was a matter of an Engineers Hammer and a cold chisel to break the latch free.

Yeah… I’ve been doing that as well. Beating on it from every angle I could get. Also just rocking back and forth…. Such a tight spot.

          Well, just drove it home.
Like before, a 20 minute trip, and it was fine. Pull into the drive, and now it won’t restart.

Looking for spark off the coil, and it’s intermittent. During a crank cycle, I’ll get sparks for half a second, then they quit. After five seconds, I’ll get a few more. Seems like I’m getting consistent pulse from the igniter, so I’m leaning towards a coil going bad.

          Am I missing something?

It was making it 24/7, and then I saw flakes of metal in the oil.

So, I did a full disclosure sale. Told the guy exactly what I thought it was. He acted/talked like he knew all about them. I discounted it heavily (for just a bit more than scrap), and we’re all happy.

Well, the shifter had somehow jumped out of the fork. 5/R was halfway between detents. I took the shifter off, set the rods back to neutral, and tightened everything else back down. Seems to be working fine now. I still don’t know why it happened or if it’s going to continue to do it.

Thank you! I didn’t even know that there was a self test. Sadly, after performing the self text, I didn’t get back any codes (recirculation light didn’t blink).

I should mention that the reading off my can was actually 85lbs measured on the low pressure side after everything quits working. The numbers I gave before we’re from faulty memory.

I’ve only dug on my wiring with a logic probe and see that the middle wire to the clutch is hot, the two others seem to go to ground, so your info is helpful. I’ll try a DMM on it next. There are also three wires going to the pressure switch as well. Any ideas what I should be doing there?

I should also mention that the fan still comes on even when the AC isn’t on.
