Wow, Never heard of this one, especially both sides!?! Have you tried using a vacuum bleeder? You could try to suck out the air/fluid rather than pumping it out. I suspect that would work. I believe you can rent one or buy one, mine was like $20.

Its a 3.8 V6, not a 4. I do have that manual for my engine. That’s where I got the info I listed above (I think anyway). It was a while ago. Thanks for your effort!

As far as only getting half of the coolant out. My guess is that your draining the radiator but not the engine or vice versa. You should be draining the radiator from its drain plug and the engine also has drain plug/plugs. Personally I think its a pain to do the engine plugs. What I used to do is remove the thermostat and run a garden hose through the system until it came out clear(just water). Then I would drain out 50% of what was a full fill. For example,If your car holds two gallons, I would drain out a gallon then top it of with a gallon of pure antifreeze. Hope i am making sense,lol. Good luck!

Although its more likely an internal tranny issue, it is possible that the shifter linkage need to be adjusted. I am not familiar with your car but it would be something for you to look at.

I don’t believe the tranny fluid or oil will help this problem If it was an auto tranny…maybe. You mentioned having a hard time putting it in to gear and hesitation or a miss at speed. Staying with the tranny topic, it could be the clutch/pressure plate/flex plate. If its an engine issue, the list could go on for days! Not knowing your car of what has/has not been done to it with that many miles it would be near impossible to fix…it would be guessing. Give us a little more info…good luck!

One thing that quickly came to mind is the oil. Did you change it? Also make sure all other fluids are in good shape and topped, especially the coolant!. Make sure the air in your tires are to spec also. You may need to check that a couple of times over the coarse of the winter as the air may seep out. I use to spray my brake rotors with a moisture resistant spray so they wouldn’t rust and I would wash off in the spring. I would recommend removing the battery.
I agree with college man with the fuel but not so much with the tires. You may get some mild flat spots but they will true after driving. Its not like older tires or bias ply that got bad flat spots. Its not a good idea to leave your suspension hanging for a long period of time. I guess if you were to jack the car up and put on jack stands in a manner where the suspension is not hanging that would work.
