Well I can see you finally see what I have seen for years. The auto repair business is totally DEAD
Both of my sons I made sure they went to collage They Booth became accountants
They both bring in well over 6 figures And all they have to bring each day is there lunch and a pencil
They sit in a warm office in the winter and a cool office in the summer I made sure that they DID NOT
follow my lead Every Day I talk some one out of the idea OF going to school to become a mechanic
Only when dealerships cant get good mechanics maybe just maybe they will can this flat rate shit
And if by chance you want to stay in the field go to work as a fleet mechanic with NO flat rate you will be much more happier That want I did years ago AND NEVER regretted it ITS the only way to go today look at FedX
      They have a large fleet
      I

My Grand cherokee came new with goodyears .They only lasted 10,000 miles The problem with my coppers is I bought them online and I cant find the bill. so forget the warranty
Yesterday I took brake fluid and wiped down the side walls and then took ATF and wiped them down This Morning I cant find the cracks THEY were very small before.Talked to a few guys down the shop and they seem to think its what the city of philadelphia is doing> Every winter for the last five years when They say its going to snow the city goes NUTS putting down BRIME Witch is nothing BUT liquid SALT This past summer I had to replace ALL of my brake lines on ALL of my cars because the lines were badly rusted > down at my friends shop that ALL he did all summer long Every car that came in his shop had to have the brake lines replaced. In all my years as a mechanic I have NEVER seen so many cars with rusted out brake lines WE replaced them with ones that are powered coated I think this liquid salt is F”’ing every thing up including the tires
what I am going to do for now in the winter is once a month wipe down the tires side walls with a little brake and tranny fluid and see what happens

Thats one of the best product That I have ever used. Had an old drag racer( Bill jenkins ) turn me on to that stuff used to talk to him all the time back in the 60s down at atco drag way Told me it was the best stuff to help break in an engine
it good to use in oil ,gas,, Good to use as air tool oil hell I think its the same thing IT is really good for and engine that has been sitting a long time MY sons grand cherokee had a lifter that would tap first thing in the morning I add a little marvel mystery oil to his oil and that took care of it
I have two snow blowers witch is 2 cycle and they would never start to great TILLI put Marvel mystery oil in the fuel tank NOW they start on the first pull
Marvel mystery oil is nothing new ITS been around since the 40s
                      I highly recommend it

when I ran the fleet dept At DHL we changed them out at 65,000 miles Some hose seem fine BUT with a truck running 12 hours a day 6 days a week we did NOT want to take any chances And yes I seen hoses last well over 100,000 miles BUT for something that is cheap you really don’t want to break down 2 AM
