surprised to see that they are $197 each! Are aftermarket mounts ok?Having a similar issue with my compressor. Found out that it’s the bearing in the clutch assembly that often burns out. You could replace the clutch assembly. But, if you want to save a few bucks you can just replace the bearing. The bearing can be replaced with a Santech MT2027 ($13). You will also need a clutch installation kit (Santech MT0985, $7) which includes the shaft key, snap ring, shims, etc.
Now, if only I can figure out how to pull the clutch assembly off while leaving the compressor on the car….it’s very tight. :unsure:Having a similar issue with my compressor. I have replaced mounts on other vehicles. Are these difficult to access? Looks like some 14mm bolts plus a much larger bolt going horizontally. Any advice would be appreciated.
