$3.17 Southeast WI.
I stood on an auto assembly line 8-10 hrs a day wearing cheap Rustler (Wranglers) that cost around $30.00 plus some good soles. They’re so cheap when they get damaged or worn out you just buy another pair
Our tech college here is partners with Snap On so the shop is full of tools and you get to try out new stuff before it hits the market.
My Grandpa worked at the Snap On plant till he had to retire because of cancer. Snap On made metal toy truck a long ago and I still have them a long with really nice clocks with a variety of women on them. I also have plenty of really old Snap On patches.
Judging by quality reports, Ford is on top as far as American auto companies go. Car wars are ridiculous. I love Chevelles, Camaros, Barracudas, Challengers, Chargers, Torinos, and Mustangs. I’ve worked in an auto plant and can tell you “The Big 3” get their parts from the same vendors.
Would you recommend an Escape?
Since we’re on the topic of oil, what does everybody use? I go with Valvoline oil and Purolator filters
Quoted From SVTDice:
Valvoline makes some good oils. Do you use the Purolator Classic or Pure one? The Pure one is a fantastic filter for the price.
I’ve been using Pure One. Do you have any suggestions for better ones?
I was raised on Snap On since my grandfather spent most of his life in a Snap On factory but I also use Craftsman, Ingersoll Rand, and a bunch of others with decent quality.
I’m in the machining industry and I can tell you there are some machine shops up here that make tools for both Snap On and Craftsman. A lot of people think these companies make all of their own tools and are surprised some are made under the same roof.
