Creaking is usually the way we describe the sound of a bad ball joint. Check your ball joints and see if they have any cracks or holes in the rubber boots. Camries are also famous for rusted out strut mounts, so pull your strut assembly out and take a loo

Never go by the logic of the car isn’t worth as much as the paint job. I will be dropping 4500.00 on my GSX for a nice paint job and rust repair, the car cost me $5,000.00. It is worth it to me becaus
Chrysler / Mitsubishi generally uses Denso for OEM. Both are good, I would just try to find out what OEM uses and replace with that.
What do you mean by performance parts? Performance parts rarely ever increase fuel economy or even reliability. My GST was making close to 330 to the wheel and my GSX is over 400, estimate. I can promise you, with all the performance parts it took to get
I’ve thought about this, and I am not really sorry about anything I said. If I am “gone” than it is what it is. I understand Eric has an image he has to keep. I also know that this prevents you from venting your frustrations towards parts people

I think you missed my point and that is this, stay away from calling people ‘idiots’ or anything else that seeks to belittle them, THAT is what I have issue with NOT your opinions in fact your opinions are welc[quote]Quoted From rhsimmons92: _x000D_

Eric I would like the thread to be left opened as an example to everyone. Now SpawnedX I do get your opinion on parts counter guys as I work with a couple people who know absolutely nothing about cars. I however,What is the +/- accuracy rating?

You are a DSM man after my own heart. Way to go on cleaning up the door panels and switches! I had read, a while back, that the switch mounts plagued owner just like the dash pealing plagues us Gen 1/2 owners. Well done! I bookmarked that site, I am excited to see you bring it back to life. And KUDOS on that amp wire harness!!! Holy cow, that was a mess when you got it. Did you get a new harnes from the dealer or a junk yard?
Completely forgot to check this post again. I contacted a DSMer in PA who just bought a mint GST shell with absolutely no rust and his 99 GSX was rusting away, so he converted the GST to a GSX and was scrapping the shell. I asked him to cut out a whole bunch of harness connectors with enough extra wire to use to fix mine.

Well guys, got the truck back yesterday and it turns out it was indeed warped rear rotors. They were so warped in fact, that the pads were only really making contact in two places as the rotor spun. It was just a coincidence that we had played with the fluid at the same time.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
Cheers! We dealt with this a lot on Jeep’s at the shop, always warping rotors quick, I hope the shop you brought it too did a caliper service. Almost every car that I have ever had that warped rotors that fast was because the shop was cutting corners and never freed up the pins and lubricated them.
I use to make the mistake of buying the “house” brand or eBay China made hub bearings for my car. Every 12-18 months like clockwork I was out there replacing them again. After the third time of them failing I switched to Timkens in the front and Napa Pros in the rear (Timken doesn’t seem to make the rears anymore) and they have been holding like champs for 3 years now.
In the end, the money you save up front almost never equals the money you save in the long run for buying the good parts, especially parts under heavy stress like ball bearings.
Mine is from gaming. My brother and me use to take great pride in our Halo skills, and this is a play on words and Halo. After you die, you re-spawn, and when you die you have a red X over your name. So the person would spawn dead, or spawned dead or spawned x’d, and that is where SpawnedX came from.
