I can’t thank you enough. I replaced the upstream o2 and the canister. Codes gone. I was able to do this repair for under $200.00!!! Where a local shop gave us an estimate of $850-1025 ! I have been a fan since the beginning and can’t thank ALL of you that support Eric as well. Thank You!!!!!
Timing Belt Kit and exhaust on order, hopefully the O2 sensors will transfer to the new pipes ok. Thanks again everyone! Love the site and all that you do for us garage guys that need to save a buck!

Silicone on the slide pins, antisieze where the pads meet the caliper. caliper mount cleaned with wire wheel prior to lube. Just replaced the flex lines and bleed the front brakes again. We’ll see after a couple of days of driving. Thanks again everyone!
Thanks again to All for the advice. Guess I should’ve been a bit more detailed. The calipers have been lubed with anti-seeze where it is metal on metal and the slide bolts lubed with silicon grease and torqued to 38 foot lbs. I did replace the flexible lines and bleed the front brakes again yesterday. I had someone pump the brakes while I watched the piston and they do move in both directions. We’ll see tomorrow when I check them again.
Thanks All for the advice. Gonna do both sides all the way with serviceable outers (thanks Big C). Can’t have the kid driving 65 with a shimmy in the front end! Neighborhood Firestone shop wants $550, It’s looking like I can get it done myself for $200-$250 with the alignment.

I service industrial printing presses for a living so turning a wrench doesn’t scare me, besides 4 kids driving all their own cars with 100k plus on them, I’m getting used to the garage floor! And a good excuse to buy myself a new tool box and air compressor! L:D Thanks again!
