I’ll have to buy a scan tool soon then. Thank you.

Thank you both and no I don’t have a scan tool and no check engine light. We are replacing the spark plugs and ignition coils since they have to be replaced anyway. Plus most of his fluids need to be replaced too. We’ll see if the problem is fixed with what has to be done if not then get it diagnosed.

I hear ya. I like simplicity sometimes too especially when it comes to having a gas tube or piston…go piston dumb gas tubes is just a rendition of steel vs plastic. It may be lighter but you drop that sucker in the mud and you can RIP.

Yes you can never go wrong with a 1911 but the 2011’s are slowly taking over. This is where my simplicity goes somewhere else and I say hello to technology. Oh and I dislike glocks….with a passion. My old boss loves them but like you said they feel cheap.

Illinois isn’t the best spot for having a gun either. My dream gun just came out and it’s made by sig. A very nice assault rifle that interchangeable calibers and barrels plus can fit almost any magazine you put in it. A crazy new ammo type just came out for 9mm too that’s pretty crazy called the RIP made by g2r. Would not want that kind of pain on anyone. I usually go for dpms or bushmaster for rifles and smith and Wesson for pistols but just like cars everyone has their own preference and rightfully so.
